DStv Mobile adds Mzansi Magic, kykNET

DStv Mobile has introduced two new channels - Mzansi Magic and kykNET to its offering. The local channel Mzansi Magic is in replacement of Africa Magic Movies and is largely the same as the satellite channel, but where licences have not been granted for certain movies, substitute movies have been scheduled.

The kykNET channel is filled with local flavour, broadcasting only in Afrikaans, from talk shows to music programmes and local dramas. DStv Premium subscribers can access up to 15 DStv channels at no subscription cost.

All other subscribers can expect to pay R49 per month. DStv mobile coverage is available in the 10 major cities of South Africa: Johannesburg (including Soweto), Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, East London, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein and Durban.
