BlackBerry launches BBM 6, adds support for connected apps

Research In Motion (RIM) announced yesterday, Wednesday, 28 July 2011, the availability of BBM version 6, which provides support for 'BBM connected' apps, allowing users to easily interact with each other from within the connected app. The organisation added that the new app represents an opportunity for developers to leverage the viral nature of the BBM service and it has already begun working with various developer partners, who will bring connected apps this week, offering users engaging app experiences.
