First dedicated tourism radio station celebrates launch
Tourism Radio, South Africa's first dedicated tourism radio station celebrated its launch on 26 April 2006 by partying it up at Cape Town's Gold of Africa Museum. Once visitors elect for the inclusion of Tourism Radio, which uses GPS technology, in their hired car, they simply tune in to get info relevant to the area they are driving through.
