#StopRape: What the BEEP has changed one year on?

Today, 567 Cape Talk and 94.5Kfm are reviving the beep campaign. Till 6pm the stations will sound a beep every four minutes, to mark every time a South African is raped.

We are talking about what has changed, what remains problematic, what still hurts, what has to be done and will once again be sharing some deeply emotional stories to highlight the issues.

For the next few days it will be impossible to ignore all the stories of rape and sexual violence. And so it should be - it's time that rape becomes impossible to ignore.
