Facebook's Messenger Lite is now available in SA

Facebook has launched Messenger Lite in South Africa. The app is a smaller, standalone version of Messenger for Android.

Messenger Lite offers people with older Android smartphones and slower internet connections, the opportunity to send text, photos and links to anyone else using Messenger or Messenger Lite.
