Math and art meet at Vanguard
The Vanguard: A month where math meets art exhibition will be on at the Young Blood Art Gallery in Cape Town from 5-25 October 2017. The exhibition is a collaboration between Dreamer Education and Youngblood Arts and Culture Development and is aimed at showcasing the arts as a tool for maths education.
The exhibition includes dialogue sessions, pop-up dance events and workshops, which focus on teaching basic math concepts through dance and music, as well as a three-storey mathematics inspired visual art exhibition featuring artists such as Robyn Pretorius, Lindsey Appolis, Kelly-John Gough, David Griessel, Kosie Thiart and Raebeam.
