The taste of French Chic on the tongue
In a sumptuous French-style country home, fringed with lavender, an intimate group of journalists was treated to the taste of Bisquit, the famous-name cognac now selling in South Africa.

French fragrances, gourmet canapés, and the seductive notes of a pretty chanteuse serenading guests in the gorgeous Cape garden, set the tone for the luxury late summer afternoon event. For an extra bit of fun and froufrou, the normally serious scribes could dress up in a wonderfully romantic range of retro-chic accessories de Paris and have their photographs taken as a memento.
Rays of sunshine enriched the enchanting golden hues of the VS Classique and the mellow amber shades of the VSOP Fine Champagne, sipped and savoured neat or with a tinkling of ice. The occasion was also a good time to debut the fabulous Summit cognac cocktail, infused with ginger, lemonade and a bite of lime.
