Marie Claire announces the best in beauty
Marie Claire magazine recently announced the local winners of the prestigious Marie Claire Prix d'Excellence de la Beauté Awards 2009 at an awards ceremony hosted by Edgars at Moloko in Johannesburg.
Estée Lauder scooped a Prix d'Excellence award in the Care category for its Re-Nutriv Ultimate Youth Creme, while Yves Saint Laurent's Nail Touch Nail Lacquer Brush Pen was voted the best product in the Make-up category.
The South African awards are run in conjunction with the international Marie Claire Prix d'Excellence de la Beauté, which honours beauty products of the highest standard from around the world, as chosen by a panel of beauty journalists. The international winners were announced at a Marie Claire event earlier this year in Paris.
