celio* launches in South Africa

The international French menswear fashion brand celio* has launched its first South African store in Canal Walk Shopping Centre, Cape Town with its autumn/winter collection. Founded in 1985, by brothers, Marc and Laurent Grosman, the brand has become an essential brand in men's fashion with over 1000 stores in more than 70 countries.

The launch event was held at the recently opened French inspired Frères Bistro in Cape Town, a fitting venue to display the brand to some of Cape Town's fashionistas and well-known South African faces.

"We introduced the brand, as there was a gap in the South African market for a premium menswear brand that offers high quality fashion. We have more expansion plans in the pipeline for South Africa and we're excited about this new venture," says Thibaut de Navacelle, celio* marketing & retail manager.

"The brand lives by five core values that are represented by its five pointed star logo. These values include masculinity, seduction, an open outlook, a generous nature and exceptional service," he concludes.
