China Sourcing Fair meets African demand

The Expo featured products under various categories, including gifts and premiums, hardware and building materials, electronics, fashion accessories, garments and textiles, as well as home products, spaced across halls 2 - 4 at Gallagher Convention Centre. All five activation companies at Oasys Innovations were involved during build-up to the show. Many exhibitors were from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, Taiwan and Asia's other major supply regions.
Supplies included general exhibition signage, stand infrastructure such as walling and counters, carpeting, electrics, audio visual equipment, furniture, shell scheme package stands and even miscellaneous requirements such as photocopiers, ISDN internet connection lines and network connections.
Carl Woodland, Chief Operating Officer for Oasys Exhibitions commented: "We are delighted to have been associated with the first ever China Sourcing Fair to be held in our country, not only because it is an excellent business to business initiative, but also because there has been no other Expo of its kind in South Africa before."
Many buyers prefer to meet manufacturers in person, before committing to large purchases. With the growing demand for these types of producers, not only in South Africa, but on the African continent, this fair fits in perfectly.
