Getting diggy with MPH

Will Smith showed us how to get 'jiggy wit it' and at MPH '07, Opel and Caterpillar will show you how to get 'diggy wit it' as their diggers demonstrate how a real machine moves. Now established as a regular event in the UK, motor extravaganza MPH '07 is in full preparation for the upcoming South African production.

MPH '07 will not only give audiences the opportunity to view some of the most exotic and rarest cars on the planet, there will also be a 75-minute live theatre extravaganza. The show is scheduled so as to continually surprise and impress, and as such makes quick transitions from car parades and advertorial style features to stunts designed with pure entertainment in mind, and to create a genuine 'wow factor'.

"One of the most interesting components of the live show is the Opel and Caterpillar Digger Dance. Most of us think that we can move on the dance floor, but these machines make humans look like they have two left feet!" says Craig Paterson, MDr of Johnnic Communications Rights Management.

The Digger dance has been a firm crowd favourite for as long as MPH has been around. The movement that these massive machines pull off is astounding to see; even the best dancers in the world haven't got moves like that!

Opels are the perfect dance partner according to MPH, as due to their compact nature they can "kick, ball, and change" with the best of them.

"We are certainly all very excited to see what this year's dance will look like, we have no doubt that it will make Strictly Come Dancing look like amateurs," concludes Paterson.

MPH '07 hits our "shores" 8 - 11 February at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.
