Thirty-six celebrities go nude in support of The Lunchbox Fund

Marie Claire's Naked issue was launched on 12 February 2014 at Mondiall restaurant in Cape Town with 36 celebrities going nude in aid of The Lunchbox Fund, a NPO dedicated to providing a daily meal for orphaned or vulnerable schoolchildren in disadvantaged areas around South Africa. The issue goes on sale Monday, 17 February.

More than 12 million South African children are living on less than R20 a day and The Lunchbox Fund facilitates public donations and volunteers to help provide these children with at least one healthy meal per day at the schools involved.

Readers can add to fund raising

Marie Claire is inviting readers who have purchased a copy of the Naked issue to share their purchase on social media, by posting a 'selfie' with the magazine and including the hashtag #MCNaked. For every 5,000 correctly tagged selfies shared, the magazine will donate R5,000 to The Lunchbox Fund to the total of R10,000.

The public can also get involved with The Lunchbox Fund directly by partnering with the fund, donating money or volunteering.
