Grapevine scoops top technology award winners

Grapevine Communications has scooped two of South Africa's recent Technology Top 100 Award winners, an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Da Vinci Institute and Eskom to celebrate technology successes in South Africa.

The Water Angel Group has appointed Grapevine to launch the 'Water Angel', which is a device that uses local technology and is designed to switch off the water supply to the geyser by cutting of the electrical current when a leak is detected. The Water Angel Group will also host training workshops for plumbers and electricians who will be certified to install the product, as well as undergo supplementary training on correct geyser piping and installation to upskill industry standards.

iSlices Innovations (Pty) Ltd recently took honours at the Top Technology 100 Awards as the Most Promising Company in the Emerging Entrepreneur Awards. Grapevine has been appointed to handle the media launch of eyeSlices - hi-tech disposable eye treatment pads made from a patented hydrogel polymer technology that effectively releases a powerful blend of active ingredients and moisture into the eye area.
