New agency launches in South Africa with a major win

The UK based marketing communications agency, Liquorice, has announced the launch of its South African division. Liquorice Africa launches with offices in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, and will be managed by joint managing partners, Miles Murphy and Jay Thomson, who have a combined international marketing pedigree of over 25 years.

The agency has also just won its first major account, having just been appointed as lead integrated marketing agency for Mars Master Foods South Africa on its Streamers™ confectionery brand. Master Foods South Africa acquired the Streamers™ brand in 2000 as part of its acquisition of Sovereign Sweets a local confectionery manufacturer.
