Don't be a twit when you tweet

We know, it's not the first time you've been warned, but we're doing it again, anyway, because there are a few cases at least in which people's tweets have turned around and bitten them - sometimes in the pocket. Nerushka Deosaran, an Associate at Norton Rose SA suggests you think before you tweet.

On the career path, perhaps next time you decide to change jobs, it will be time to go mobile. According to an article on Memeburn, if you're thinking about a career change, you should probably think more about mobile, and less about Facebook and SEO.

Social media is something FSPs must integrate into business objectives. So says James Saulez, head of online trading at Global Trader. He reckons social media in South Africa is often perceived to be a cheap alternative to conventional marketing and brand awareness, but it can be much more than that.

There has been a very steep decline in the number of new businesses - your future advertising and marketing clients - in South Africa, but Anton Ressel reckons it's not all doom and gloom. In fact, he says Entrepreneurship in SA is in better shape than you think.

Rod Baker, Content Director
