Ilan Godfrey is committed to revealing the daily life and struggles of those in need, by conveying through long-term projects a process of investigative journalism and documentary photography. Thereby bringing to light important issues within post-apartheid South Africa.

He has gained a BA degree in Photography and a MA degree in Photojournalism from The University of Westminster, London.

Godfrey's photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide and featured in a broad range of international publications.
