ITP SA appoints Axel Bührmann as Publisher, Susan Phelps as Group Advertisement Manager

Axel Bührmann heads up ITP South Africa

Axel Bührmann has been appointed publisher at Information & Technology Publishing (ITP) South Africa, having been editor of that company’s Windows Southern Africa magazine for the past ten months. The appointment, which sees him in charge of local ITP operations, coincides with ITP SA’s launch of the local version of CommsAFRICA, an established publication in ITP’s international fold, which focuses on the telecommunications arena.

Bührmann had previously been editor at ZDNET South Africa, PC Magazine, Inter@ctive Week and a freelance editor for Business 2.0.

Susan Phelps heads up ITP South Africa's sales

Susan Phelps has been appointed Group Advertisement Manager at Information & Technology Publishing (ITP) South Africa (www.itp.net). Previously a regional sales director at Datatec, one of SA’s key ICT companies, Phelps will be overseeing sales operations for ITP’s burgeoning local stable of publications, including the consumer-oriented Windows Southern Africa and CommsAfrica, which focuses on African telecommunications.
