Thulani Nzima appointed sales and marketing director for Avis
Avis Rent-a-Car South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Thulani Nzima as its sales and marketing director.
Nzima will take up his official duties on 1 December 2007 and replaces Gary Smith who was recently promoted to chief operations officer for the Avis and Budget Scandinavian business of Barloworld in Oslo, Norway.
No stranger to the travel and tourism industry, Nzima has spent the past 15 years in various positions within SAA, in SA and abroad, and the past two years as chief executive officer for SAA's SA Travel Centre Group.
