VISI's new art director
Etienne Hanekom has been appointed as VISI's new art director.
Hanekom comes to VISI by way of the AAA School of Advertising in Johannesburg and a string of magazines of the calibre of INSIG, Plascon Colour and Front Cover.
Hannekom's work on Front Cover received due recognition, with the magazine being nominated as a finalist for New York's prestigious FOLIO magazine '2006 Eddie and Ozzie Awards'. It was also shortlisted for the APA (UK Association of Publishers) Awards, alongside the UK's top publisher John Brown.
