Mannee de Wet the new MD for Planet Fitness Group

Mannee de Wet has been promoted to managing director of the Planet Fitness group. His responsibilities include overseeing all operational issues, while still handling marketing, which was part of his previous portfolio for the group.

Planet Fitness is a significant force in the South African health club industry. Launched in October 1995 with the uncompromising vision of becoming the preferred health club group in South Africa, it has since enjoyed a sustained period of vibrant growth.

There are currently 12 health clubs located in the Western Cape, Gauteng and Mpumalanga with plans in place to roll out to Kwa-Zulu Natal during the course of 2005.
