New Travelstarter appointed to handle marketing

That is the motto of Daniel Martins, the newly appointed marketing manager at Travelstart, an online company and call centre in South Africa that specializes in finding, comparing and booking the most affordable flights on at least 200 airlines and to more than 11,000 destinations.

In this role, Martins is responsible for the entire marketing and branding portfolio. As the first and most popular online travel agency in the country, Martins is tasked with building the marketing and branding aspects from the ground up and ensuring that Travelstart becomes a household brand name. To that extent, Martins is a firm believer in adopting a cross-disciplinary approach where all the disciplines in the marketing mix dovetail to deliver a compelling communication programme.
