FIFA and Africa celebrate Madiba's 89th birthday in spectacular style

To mark the auspicious occasion of Mr. Nelson Mandela's 89th birthday, FIFA and Sepp Blatter have organised a clash of the titans soccer match.
The Nelson Mandela Cup will take place on 18 July at Cape Town's Newlands stadium. Kick off is at 20H00 GMT. The teams will comprise of an African XI vs. a rest of the world XI.
FIFA, the South African FA, the 2010 FIFA World Cup local organising committee, The Nelson Mandela Foundation and the FIFPRO (the international federation of professional football players), conceived this project as a way:
The AUB (African Union of Broadcasters) in association with its commercial arm, African Broadcast Network (ABN), is broadcasting the game to 41 African countries south of the Sahara and sponsorship opportunities are available.
