The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) took place at City Hall from 10-12 February 2017.

Kwesta hosted a spontaneous Drop Party to premier four new music videos of which he featured in two. The night also revealed Kwesta as the first of five bold, brave and authentic artists, hand-picked to join the Red Heart Rum Crew, all of whom will be announced on February 20th.

Radio Kalahari Orkes release new video for Bobbejaanvlei - the first single from their new album set for official release in March 2017, entitled Mamba!.

Taxi Violance release the music video for Fake It. Taxi Violence's Loedi van Renen, also an accomplished music video maker at Kill City Pictures created the video, basing it on the 1989 black comedy, Weekend at Bernie’s.

DJ, Euphonik, released a brand new single Apologies, featuring up-and-coming producer Luke M and vocalist Thoko.

Rubber Duc release the music video for their latest single ‘Feet’ which coincides with the release of the single to radio today. The music video for ‘Feet’ was shot by Kyle White and stars South African actress Jay Anstey, and newcomer Schalk Myburgh.

CrashCarBurn release brand new single and music video entitled Juliet. The video has been selected for two international film festivals (the Scout Film Festival in Vermont and CinePlay Film Festival in New York). The music video was created by animator Dewald de la Rey from E.I.E Productions.

Francois van Coke launched his sophomore album; Hierdie is die Lewe at District (former Assembly) in Cape Town on Friday, 3rd February 2017.

The Music Run™ by Old Mutual, a music and running festival, took place at the Riversands Farm Village on Saturday 4 February 2017.

Shortstraw release the sixth single from their Those Meddling KidsT Collective, entitled Boo. The video is directed by Sam Nell.

Ryki releases new single and music video, entitled Throw You Down. Directed by Waldo Pretorius and JT Moatshe.

Francois van Coke releases the official music video for Dit Raak Beter from album Hierdie is die Lewe.

Stoker release the music video Forever Drive, for first single from their self-titled debut album. Forever Drive was filmed by Dayne Malan.

GoodLuck release the music video for hit track; The Open Sea. A collaboration between GoodLuck and German duo YOUNOTUS is the fourth single from GoodLuck’s critically acclaimed 3rd album, The Nature Within released in October 2016.

WONDERboom release their brand new single and the music video for ‘Ooh La La’.
