Flying Fish took to the streets of Sandton this weekend, 3 June 2017, with the finale of the Flying Fish Street Cruise Experience. It was hosted by DJ Doowap and Rouge.

Dr Judy Dlamini presented Terry Pheto with the Luminance Star award for excellence at the 2017 Luminance Mother's Day High Tea, which was held in Hyde Park. Celebrity mothers like LeAnne Dlamini, Melanie Bala, Tamerin Jardine, and Rozanne McKhenzie were all in attendance and were treated to a high tea from Life Grand Café along with 1701 gift bags.

Several members of the Margate biking fraternity got together to celebrate their biking passion while also giving back to the community at the South Coast Bike Fest which was held from Thursday, 27 April to Sunday, 30 April.

The Bot River Barrels & Beards showcase took place over the weekend where R100 000 was raised for various school-level educational projects in this region. The 2017 Best Bot Beard title went to Peter-Allan Finlayson of Gabrielskloof Estate.

The 2017 Cape Legends & Artisan Spirits Inter Hotel Challenge once again celebrated the country's leading 29 hotels with support from Distell; the Cape Town leg of the event was held at the Vineyard Hotel on 29 March. The other legs of the event were held at the Palace at the Lost City in Sun City, the Hartford House in Midlands, KwaZulu-Natal and NH The Lord Charles in the Cape Winelands.

Belvedere Vodka, transformed Ferguson's fifth floor into a garden style oasis. Set in the heart of Illovo, guests were treated to Belvedere cocktails.

The Zando10s, South Africa's biggest social sport and lifestyle event took place on 3 and 4 February at Hamilton Rugby Club. The 9th consecutive event saw over 300 teams participating in four different sporting codes including rugby, netball, beach volleyball and dodgeball.

The Music Run™ by Old Mutual, a music and running festival, took place at the Riversands Farm Village on Saturday 4 February 2017.

On Sunday 15 January 2017 the rooftop venue, Nasdak, played host to the launch of Spree MAN with Kyle Deutsch. The event not only announced the MAMA2016 winner as a brand ambassador for Spree MAN, but also served to launch the official music video of the Can't Get Enough Remix.

Original Mason's was officially unveiled at The Deck Rooftop & Pool Bar at Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village on 14 December 2016. The tropical inspired party featured colourful lanterns and flowers, complete with Mason's pool boys, Mason's mixologists and DJ Dino Moran.

The Wavescape Festival in Cape Town, an ocean-minded event, included film screenings, art exhibitions, ocean talks, filmmaking workshops and a charity auction. A record R328,000 was raised and will be making its way to four important ocean causes.

The glitzy and celeb filled Sun Central Launch Party was held at Sun City on the 30 November 2016.

This past weekend saw the inaugural Pure&Crafted SA Festival take place at Ground in Muldersdrift, where thousands of people came out to experience the best in motorcycling, music, food, drinks and the outdoors.
