Ultra South Africa featuring the biggest names in EDM took place at The Ostrich Ranch on the 27 and 28 February 2016.

On the back of the South African edition of Ultra Music Festival G-Star RAW teamed up with Bridges for Music to present the 'RAW Conversations' with two workshops hosted in Johannesburg and in Cape Town to facilitate knowledge transfer and inspire positive change through music and education.

The Plastics release new music video for their single, All I Really Want. The video was shot in December 2015 at Digital Forest Studios in Cape Town and directed by Barry de Villiers.

Ultra South Africa took place in Cape Town and Joburg over the weekend, and Heineken® joined forces with DJ Euphonik. DJ Euphonik mingled with fans at the Heineken® Star Club viewing deck in Joburg.

The official release of the music video for Can You Feel It, a track by DJ Qness and December Streets. The song was released in November 2015 by Coke Studio and has since been receiving extensive commercial airplay on South African radio.

The 2016 Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) Annual Fundraising Gala Dinner was held this past weekend, raising R2.5 million for the Zeitz MOCAA Endowment Fund.

Shortstraw release new music video for their single High School. The video was shot while the band was on tour in Japan in October 2015. The video was shot by Tom Revington and directed by Russell Grant and Alastair Thomas.

Won't Break Down is the second single from Zebra & Giraffe's new EP "Slow Motion". It follows the Top 10 single "It's All The Same" and was recorded in Stinson Beach, California and produced by Cian Riordan.

The third instalment of South African Menswear Week (SAMW16) took place from the 3rd to 6th February, at the Cape Town stadium.

On 28th of January 2016, Tsogo Sun's The Southern Sun Waterfront hosted a VIP showcase of Watershed's new album "Watch the Rain" in partnership with Urban Brandy.

Mumford & Sons, with support from John Wizards, The Very Best and Beatenberg, entertained thousands of fans at Grand Parade in Cape Town on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, 29 - 31 January.
