Deep Relief 50g goes from over-the-counter to front shop
Deep Relief Ibuprofen Gel 50g has moved from being available over-the-counter to front shop.
The move comes after the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (Sahpra) has resolved to down schedule topical analgesic gels containing 1% Ibuprofen in pack sizes 50g or less. Consequently, Deep Relief 100g may only be purchased over the counter.
The gel is a topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic intended for the symptomatic relief of acute painful muscular-skeletal conditions caused by trauma.
