Not only is Zapiro's satirical ZA News - which was banned by the SABC - back on Summit TV (DStv 412) for another season, e.tv and the eNews Channel is launching its own satirical show, the Late Nite News hosted by Loyiso Gola, on Wednesday, 29 September 2010, at 9.30pm. Produced by Diprente Productions, LNN will follow a professional structure, set in a formal news studio, where the latest news is interspersed with non-stop tongue-in-cheek one-liners, offering viewers a hilarious take on some current political and international stories. It will feature South African comedians such as such as Riaad Moosa and Jason Cope as "field-reporters" and will be repeated on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
