No scholarships for Highway Africa 2010

Chris Kabwato, conference director of Highway Africa, announced this week that this year's edition of the annual event will not be offering any scholarships to media professionals. He advised that no application letters or letters of inquiry regarding obtaining scholarships should be submitted and those who have registered online will have to pay their registration fees in advance and meet their own travel and accommodation costs. Highway Africa 2010 takes place at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa, 5-7 July. Registration for the event closes on 4 June. For more information, go to www.highwayafrica.com.
