SA entrepreneur's billion dollar sale of music group

South African-born Clive Calder pocketed more than US$1bn last week when he sold control of his Zomba Music Group to BMG for a reported US$3bn. Calder grew up in Kensington, Johannesburg, in the 1950s before finding his way to the forefront of the music industry in America, and has recorded the likes of Britney Spears and 'N Sync under Zomba cornerstone label Jive Records.
