Jan to June 2005 ABCs out today
The Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) releases its bi-annual circulation report at a lunch in Johannesburg today, Tuesday 16 August, for the period audited January to June 2005. The ABC issues certificates twice a year to verify magazine, newspaper and community press circulations for advertisers, as well as auditing and verifing free distribution of publications. Since the ABC issues no press statements and limited trend forecasts, it is up to individual media owners to interpret their circulation gains and losses, so expect a slew of self-congratulatory press releases this week!
