Bongani Keswa leaves Avusa
Sowetan editor Bongani Keswa and Avusa Media are parting ways, editor-in-chief Mondli Makhanya announced on Sunday, 13 February 2011. "The departure of Keswa from the media house was by amicable agreement and we would like to wish him well with his new ventures," said Makhanya. The group's public editor Thabo Leshilo will continue to stand in as acting editor of Sowetan until a suitable replacement is found for Keswa, who has said he would like to take the time out to pursue other ventures.
