Agricultural journalism awards

Two awards for agricultural writing have been awarded this week. The first is Farming SA's features editor, Glenneis Kriel, who also received the Izethulo award for outstanding journalism in the fruit industry this year, has won the Agricultural Writers SA/Santam Agriculture Journalist of the Year award. She has been writing about agriculture for almost 10 years. The second is to Hugo Lochner, editor of Landbouweekblad, as Agricultural Writer of the Year from the Pro Agri Forum, whose members are all past recipients of Agricultural Writers SA's annual award for Farmer of the Year.
