Architect wins Designer of the Year award

The Absolut Visi Designer of the Year Awards recognises and rewards South Africa's best designers annually and this year Peter Rich Architects has won, the first time an architect has done so. He won it for the design of the Mapungubwe Interpretation Centre at the Mapungubwe National Park in Limpopo, which has already received international recognition, winning the World Building of the Year at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona in November 2009.
