Google honours Oskar Fishinger's 117th birthday with interactive doodle
In honour of German-American artist, musician and filmmaker Oskar Fishinger's 117th birthday, Google has released an interactive doodle in celebration of his work with animated art, set to music. The doodle allows users to click through and create their own visual art in Fischinger's style, by clicking on the diamonds to choose notes.
Fishinger is synonymous in the film industry for his use of motion graphics and animation, which he combined as abstract visual and music art, with each of the frames drawn or photographed by hand.
