2008 Art Directors Club Hall of Fame laureates

NEW YORK: The Art Directors Club unveiled its latest group of inductees into the ADC Hall of Fame yesterday, Tuesday, 14 October 2008. The seven honorees - Alex Bogusky, co-chairman, Crispin Porter + Bogusky; Ray Eames (posthumous), designer, architect and filmmaker; Sir John Hegarty, chairman, worldwide creative director, Bartle Bogle Hegarty; Maria Kalman, illustrator, artist, designer; John Maeda, president, Rhode Island School of Design; R Roger Remington, Massimo and Leila Vignelli Distinguished Professor of Design, Rochester Institute of Technology; and Bruce Weber, fashion photographer - representing the fields of advertising, design, architecture, filmmaking, illustration, academia and photography, will be inducted at a black-tie benefit gala dinner on 6 November, at the ADC Gallery in New York, with proceeds going toward ADC scholarship programs.
