Jupiter takes the Creative Circle lead

Traditionally, the title of SA's most creative agency is revealed at the end of the calendar year, when the Creative Circle-endorsed local and international awards results come to a close, but this year The Jupiter Drawing Room (SA) & Partners (The Jupiter Drawing Room [Johannesburg and Cape Town], DDB SA, MetropolitanRepublic and Black River FCB) is celebrating early. According to a press statement from the agency group, at the end of July 2008, the creativity points amassed were so great that even if the second placed agency group (Ogilvy SA) were to win every Creative Circle-endorsed award remaining in 2008, it would still not be able to surpass Jupiter's total. The Jupiter Drawing Room (SA) last took top place on the Creative Circle table in 2001. Since then, a variety of agencies have vied for the number one slot. (TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris 2002 and 2003, Net#work BBDO 2004, TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris 2005, Ogilvy (SA) 2006 and Lowe Bull 2007).
