Toilet paper tussles
TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris recently lodged a competitor complaint on behalf of Nampak Tissue against a television commercial for Kimberly-Clark's Baby Soft toilet tissue product, which claimed to be the "only toilet tissue with micro pocket technology". The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) of South Africa ruled that while Baby Soft does have a particular type of technology, the claim implied some benefit from this technology which Baby Soft has not shown, and upheld the complaint.
