Digitas' in-person NewFront scrapped, goes virtual

Digitas has cancelled its live, in-person NewFront presentation and opted for a virtual session as the novel coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, Adweek reports. The event was scheduled to take place in New York from 27 April to 6 May as part of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's 2020 NewFronts.

According to Adweek, Digitas said in an e-mail to attendees that it has opted for digital-only presentations to put the health and safety of everyone involved in the event first. The agency said details of when and how attendees can take part in the virtual event will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
