New management team for J. Walter Thompson
The J. Walter Thompson Company has announced that Bob Jeffrey, 50, will become the ninth Chief Executive Officer in its history as the agency begins its 140th year on January 1, 2004. Michael Madel, 53, will become President. Peter A. Schweitzer, 64, JWT's current President and CEO, will become Chairman. Lewis J. Trencher, 51, will remain Chief Financial Officer.
