South Africans shortlisted for Meffys
Vodacom has been shortlisted twice and MxiT once for the Meffys, the Mobile Entertainment Awards, 2009. Vincent Maher, Vodacom portfolio manager for social media, said: "The Meffy Award is one of the most prestigious mobile awards and we are very excited to have been shortlisted. Recognition in both categories is a fantastic accolade and it's good to get industry recognition at this level for our service." the Meffys will be handed out during the MEF's official annual conference, Mobile Entertainment Market. This year's ceremony will be hosted by BBC presenter and comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli.
