YouTube Music is now available in Mzansi
YouTube Music is now available in South Africa. This new music streaming service offers music videos, official albums, singles, remixes, live performances, covers as well as hard-to-find music you can only get on YouTube.
While fans may enjoy the new ad-supported version of YouTube Music for free, YouTube has also announced YouTube Music Premium -- a paid membership that gives users access to background listening, downloads and an ad-free experience. Users may search for descriptions, lyrics and emojis to find the songs they want to listen to.
Smart Search is available in most languages including indigenous South African languages such as isiZulu and isiXhosa.
The new YouTube Music app is available to download from the Play Store and App Store. Users may also explore the web player at music.youtube.com or sign up for YouTube Premium at youtube.com/premium.
