Design Culture concludes empowerment deal
Specialist below-the-line marketing agency Design Culture recently announced the sale of 51% of its shares to one of South Africa's oldest black-owned communications consultancy, Makwetla & Associates, for an undisclosed amount. Makwetla & Associates MD Thabang Makwetla has been appointed chairman of Design Culture, with non-executive appointments including industry veteran John Farquhar and social activist, businesswoman and chairperson of the Makwetla group, Angie Makwetla.
