The inaugural Cavendish Square Literacy Book Sale, which was themed around National Children's Day and held last week, raised R68 557 for the NGO, Wola Nani's programmes for orphans and vulnerable children. Celebrities including Heart 104.9FM presenter, Saskia Falken; e.tv weatherman, Derek van Dam; SAFM presenter, Nancy Richards; and former Miss Universe, Michelle McLean, who gave up their time to read stories to children from some of Exclusive Books' bestselling books. The next book sale will be held on 1 December 2010 to commemorate World Aids Day.
