Lifeline goes online with new intranet

Non-profit organisation LifeLine Johannesburg went live last week with a new, intranet-based content management system that provides its more than 90 volunteer counselors with a wide range of benefits. These include a user-friendly, graphical working environment; centralised, easily updated contact database and newsletter; and enhanced business processes. The new system was designed, developed and implemented at no cost by Cambrient, which provides open source content management and integrated digital marketing applications.
