A new political newspaper, The Enquirer, starts 1 Nov
A new weekly political newspaper is launching on 1 November in Gauteng. The editor is Joe Mdhlela, former senior political writer at Sowetan, and writers include Jon Qwelane, Max Du Preez and Rich Mkhondo. The National Consortium of Trade Unions is a major shareholer.
The focus seems right and according to the publishers, Sue Baguley, "We're determined to deliver no holds barred, accurate and balanced reporting.".
