Website to highlight truth in trafficking
Media Monitoring Africa (MMA) is launching its new Child Protection and Trafficking website today, Wednesday 27 October 2010 to help unpack some of the myths around human trafficking and child safety in South Africa. MMA is trying to create a better understanding of the issues involved and what can be done to tackle modern slavery by working with children, journalists and NGOs to give the media a full and accurate account of human trafficking.
