Cansa Shavathon at Cresta a huge success
R47 000 was raised for charity as shopper's hair was either shaved or sprayed with bright colours at Cresta Shopping Centre during the annual Cansa Shavathon on Saturday, 3 March.
Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, KayaFM's MOG' top 40 count-down was aired from Cresta for the first time as part of an outside broadcast, helping to spread the message around Johannesburg about the Shavathon taking place at the centre.
This is the ninth annual Cansa Shavathon and Cresta Shopping Centre was one of 300 registered venues participating in this year's national event.
Robin Naicker, Centre Manager of Cresta , thanks all of the shoppers that came through showing their support for this worthy cause.
