Morvite helps a Diepkloof School provide breakfast for its pupils
It is important for children to start their day with a nutritious breakfast to ensure they have the energy needed to concentrate throughout the day. This is what Morvite aims to communicate, not only to the children, but to their parents and teachers.
As part of this philosophy, Morvite donated a month's supply of breakfast to the Ikaneng Combined Campus, a school in Diepkloof, Soweto, which accommodates pupils from Grade R to Grade 9.
Children are the backbone of society. According to Franklin D Roosevelt, we may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can at least prepare our children for the future. This is the motivation for the special educational show, uMama Nami project, presented to the Diepkloof students. "The children learned a lot from the show. This breakfast donation will make a wonderful difference to our children and their experience of their school day," says Mrs Nkosi, Deputy Principal of Ikaneng Combined Campus.
