We’re looking for a curious and analytical Junior Telematics Analyst to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who enjoys working with data, investigating patterns, solving problems, and contributing to meaningful operational decisions. Whether you have some industry exposure or you’re looking to build your career in telematics and insurance analytics, we’re happy to support your growth and development.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Telematics team, you’ll work with telematics and customer data to identify trends, investigate risk cases, and support operational reporting and decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing telematics data to identify high-risk driving behaviour, speed cases, accident alerts, business use, and other risk indicators
• Investigating and documenting possible fraud, multi-claimant, business-use, and high-risk cases
• Preparing accurate reports on cases, trends, operational outcomes, and estimated savings
• Analysing telematics data to identify trends, risks, and operational insights
• Assisting with the creation and maintenance of dashboards and internal reporting tools
• Supporting internal teams with telematics insights, process updates, and operational changes
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, case outcomes, and system updates
• Assisting with monthly operational reporting and telematics objectives
• Identifying and documenting system bugs and issues for development teams

About you

You’re naturally curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy finding meaning in data. You ask good questions, communicate clearly, and enjoy solving problems in a structured and analytical way.

Minimum requirements

• Degree in data analysis, data science, statistics, information systems, mathematics, ubsiness analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and reporting ability

Technical skills

• Data analysis and interpretation
• SQL (data querying, data extraction, and database analysis)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, dashboards, and reporting
• Exposure to BI tools and dashboard creation
• Data visualisation and trend analysis

Advantageous:

• Experience in insurance, telematics, analytics, or risk environments
• Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
• Understanding of fraud detection, claims environments, or operational analytics
