FAB launch

Described as the “book launch of the year”, a party of 300 plus revellers recently rocked Cape Town's chic Metropole Hotel to launch the book FAB. MC at the event was Cape Town drag sensation Miss Lilly Slaptsilly. This lavish coffee table book celebrates the first 13 years of the Mother City Queer Project, the biggest annual jol in Africa for adventurous people. At the same event MCQP announced this year's party theme: Matric dance. FAB, compiled by dramatist Karen Jeynes and photographer Eric Miller is published by Umuzi, the local Random House imprint.
